  2. Comparing our information to that of the blog known as "the three witches" we have concluded that

Due to the fact that women weren't properly educated, anyone woman that was educated was considered a witch

Any women that was out of the ordinary was considered a witch

In most cases, the women would be the only people accused of being witches

  3. Our first assignment post on witches had many points that connected with that of this post "Women in Shakespeare's Time"

    Connections

The fact that women mostly had no education relates to the point that those with education and knowledge on herbs and their medicinal benefits were viewed with suspicion.

As well, women were only expected to be housewives and mothers - those that were widowed or alone were often accused as being witches, because their role in society was to be good wives.

  4. My group's post is very similar to The Three Witches' post. We both said that only women were suspected to be witches (especially old and poor women). Widows and other unprotected women were the main targets for witch hunts. Women with knowledge of herbs were often accused of being witches. People thought that they used herbs for witchcraft.
